When it comes to an unexpected pregnancy, there are so many things to stress over and it's easy to forget to take care of yourself. Here are five tips to help you stay healthy during pregnancy and as you consider placing your baby for adoption.

1. Get Support & Attend Your Check-Ups

It can take all the courage in the world to walk into a doctors office when you're expecting a baby that doesn't quite feel like yours. Sitting down to discuss all of the changes going on with your body, your emotional state and hearing the heartbeat of the baby growing inside of you. You don't have to do it alone! If you need some support to attend your check ups let your case worker know, let your doctors office know, let your adoptive mom know or your best friend, boy friend or the person you have at your side.
